Dream Vacation: A big road trip through the south, complete with a stop at Dollywood. You know, Dolly Parton's Great Smoky Mountains family amusement park. I've wanted to go there for ages. Dolly got me through a rough patch at work this morning, and I'm pretty sure this won't be the first time. Listen to her evangelizing below. She's so great.
I had the great privilege of taking this very dream vacation a couple of summers back with Michael and let me assure you, dreams really do come true at Dollywood. Your inner Southern belle will NOT be disappointed, nor will your inner thrill-seeking rollercoaster enthusiast. Dolly doesn't mess around when it comes to thrill rides, making the $110 price of admission for two (+$20 for parking...like you could have walked!!) well worth it.
Speaking of Dolly, I just saw that the Mission is holding the 6th Annual Dolly Parton Tribute Night this Saturday. I am sure if Emily was in town and I didn't have a ton of shit going on that day, we would be there.

We can put it on the list for a pod vacation.
Wow, it sounds amazing, despite the price. Count me in, it's on the list.
I like all this enthusiasm. It may be time to plan a Dollywood adventure. 2012 or 2013?
